Born to Bologna, it has been graduated to the Conservatory of its city under the guide of Master G. Adamo. He participated to course of improvement in held Italy and to the foreign country from the Masters: C. Ferras, J.J. Kantorow and J.P.Wallez (International Academy of Nizza), W.Schneiderhan (Conservatory of Lucerna), M. Sirbu (Academy of City of Castle) and N. Brainin (School of Music of Fiesole). Student of Franco Gulli to the Chigiana Academy of Siena, has obtained for two consecutive years Scholarship and Diploma of Merit, attending at the same time the Course of Chamber music held from Masters R.Brengola and To Meunier and the seminary on Sonate and Partite of J.S. Bach held from the M. H.Szering. He has gained the Prize "Vittorio Veneto in 1984, the Prize to the Competition of Chamber music "City of Caltanissetta" and a Special Prize to the International Competition "S.Lorenzi" of Trieste. He carries out concert activity in numerous Chamber music groups: Filarmonici of the Theatre Comunale of Bologna as Violino Solista, the Ensemble Carme of Milan, the Virtuosi Italiani. He recorded fo "Dynamic", "Nuova Era”, "Fonit Cetra" and the "Decca Record" of London, for which it has recorded from solista some concerts of Vìvaldi for two violini with the M° F.Gulli under the direction of the M° R.Chailly.

Since 1989 he is First Violin soloist of the Orchestra of “Teatro Comunale” of Bologna, role that still he covers stablily. In 1994 for particular artistic merits it has been enrolled to the white one of the Real Filarmonica Academy of Bologna in quality of Associate of Honor.
